KIKO Shine Lust Lip Tint Review

So since I'm a sucker for new lip products, I picked up recently the new products by KIKO which are called Shine Lish Lip Tints and are a lot close to YSL Lip tints if not very close.

They are 4,3 ml(0.14 oz) retail for 8,90€ each and come in 14 colours (of which I have 6) going from nude to pinks and dark violet.Their consistency is glossy, in some of them more sheer and in others more creamy and the feel to your lips is exacly like the one from YSL one,it gives you a cooling effect once you put it on and are a bit sticky and moisturizing to the lips.They have a straight and tapered spongy applicator which makes it easy to apply(especially on your bottom lip).

The colours i picked up are:

The following are swatches on a white piece of paper so you can see the colour exactly. The darker colours are more creamy and intense than the nude/bright ones and they stain the lips with the colour and the stain on your lips is there for many hours.You need to apply at least two coats to get the result of pigmentation and shine of each colour and although they feel a little heavy on the lips the result is absolutely stunning.

The following are swatches of the YSL I have in my collection(No.12/24) just to show you the similarity with the KIKO ones.

Overall I really like them(obviously since i got 6 of them) and if I could find a con it would be that in the light ones you need to take out and put in again the applicator a few times so you pick up more colour or mix the colour inside the container.

I would like to try the red colours also because they would be ideal for Christmas red lip!Hope I helped you in deciding on your next buy!

MAC Prolongwear concealer

I purchased the MAC Prolongwear concealer when it came out and i have to say that in the begining i didn't appreciate it as much as i should.It is high coverage,thin creamy texture,really long lasting and the NC/NW shading system makes it very versatile for everybody to match. I use it mostly for my dark circles but also in any discoloration or blemish on the face and it works perfect for any of the above.

I am an NC30 in MAC foundations usually and although i bought the NC30 and used all of it(well not all of it because it went very greasy in the end and i had to B2M it), repurchased the NC25(which wasn't available until recently) and it provides a great luminous result under my eyes.I have heavy dark circles and usually i have to apply corrector (which in my case is the Giorgio armani master corrector) before the MAC Prolongwear to get the perfect result.

I set it with Laura Mercier loose powder which is a bit yellowish and this makes the area uner the eye even more luminous and prevents the product from setting into my fine lines (which i always had).My foundation regimen is as follows: i put on a primer face/eyes, apply foundation or BB cream with a flat kabuki brush,put my corrector under the eyes and let it set for a while, i put powder wherever needed usually in my T zone,apply bronzer/blush, do my eyebrows,then apply the MAC Prolongwear concealer and set it with my LM powder and then go ahead with my eye makeup.In the end if there is fallout i clean it nd apply the MAC Prep n Prime luminizer in pen form under my eyes going out and upwards towards the temples. 

My opinion overall on the product is that i provides a full coverage,creamy finish, matte when it dries result that i haven't found in many concealers until now.

Of course as in many things in life, it has a downfall which in this case it is the packaging.The pump bottle makes it impossible for you to control the amount of product you pump out everytime and this results in wasting a lot of product and messing the bottle with the excess product that came out.

I would highly recommend the product for all skin types, i myself am oily under my eyes, but if you have  dry skin you could firstly deeply moisturize before using it or maybe get away without setting it with powder on top.

MAC Prolongwear Lipglass Review

Ημουν πολυ επιφυλακτικη στο να αγορασω τα συγκεκριμενα προιοντα,ειχα ακουσει και δει στο ιντερνετ οτι ειχαν πολυ κολλωδη υφη και ολες ξερουμε οτι αυτο σημαινει πολυ μαλλι κολλημενο πανω  στα χειλη μας( κατι που καμια δε το θελει) και μια ασχημη αισθηση οταν ενωνουμε τα χειλη μας.

Λοιπον το Σαββατο βρεθηκα σε καποιο σταντ της MAC εδω στα ξενα και φορουσα ενα nude μολυβι και ενα nude κραγιον και αποφασισα να βαλω απο πανω ενα απο αυτα τα lipgloss να δω πως θα δειξει....ΦΟΒΕΡΟ!Εκανε τα χειλη μου ζουμερα,σαρκωδη και δε κολλουσε και τοσο τρομερα!Κοιταζομουν στον καθρεφτη και δε το πιστευα το αποτελεσμα.Αγορασα το ενα,πηγα πιο κατω,ξαναγυρισα,δοκιμασα και το αλλο και τελικα κατεληξα να παρω και τα δυο!

Αποχρωση Next Fad: Κοραλοροζ,ημιδιαφανο με ελαχιστα shimmer χρυσα και ροζ.Πιο διαφανο απο τα δυο, με καλη χρωματικη αποδοση και καλυψη.

Αποχρωση Infinitely Likable:Ροζ κουφετι,πιο opaque αποδοση χρωματος χωρις shimmer.

Και τα δυο φαινονται τελεια πανω στα χειλη,ειναι κολλωδη αλλα αυτο τα κανει και πιο σταθερα απο τα κοινα lipgloss.Δεν μπαινουν μεσα στις γραμμες των χειλιων(αν εχετε), δεν φευγουν απο το περιγραμμα,ιδανικα για πιο ωριμα χειλη κατα τη γνωμη μου.

Τιμη:20,50€ (εδω στην Ιταλια)

ΜΗ τα παρετε αν δεν αντεχετε να κολλανε τα χειλη σας!Θα με μισησετε!

Lipstick trick using Loreal Colour Caresse Wet Shine Stain

If you are like me and you have reallllllllly dry lips and flaky lips so any matte or semi matte lipstick ends up looking like you have chalk on your lips,you might want to try this little trick i found that works nice for me.

Instead of applying lipstick and lipgloss on top,try applying the lipgloss first(not a very sticky one) and lipstick on top.The lipgloss underneath hydrates your lips and provides a base for the lipstick not to go into any lines or rough surface you may have.I actually like doing it by applying the Loreal new Colour wet shine stains and match the colour to the lipstick colour I'm going to wear on top.This way,you make your lip color last longer and make the color brighter.I guess you can do it with any less sticky lipgloss but the one by Loreal and also YSL new glossy lip stain will make the color last.

My new KIKO BB cream(compact) and mineral powder routine

So i decided to write this in English since i will be talking about a product that can't be found yet in Greece,the new BB cream Glow compact by KIKO a company that is present in Italy,France,Germany,Portugal and UK.It's a real pity that we don't have it in Greece because their products are absolutely fantastic and innovative!

Since the day i saw it in store and bought it I'm using the BB Glow compact in No. 5( as you can see) and i would say that I'm a MAC NC30 or NC37 in summer.I apply it using a damp Sigma F80 flat top brush and buff it all over my skin.I can say that the coverage is light medium like most BB products but buildable to medium.The finish is glowing satin one but doesn't have any glitter in it!It feels like you put a nice veil on your face evening out your complexion but not entirely covering your imperfections. you need to conceal if you want afterwards your major imperfections like pimples,scars,darkness or redness but for an everyday use you can also leave it without concealing.
I then apply the mineral compact powder by KIKO No.7 on top to have some better coverage and also set the cream throughout the day.I have a combination/oily t-zone skin with some acne scars and i like to be shine free for as long as i can throughout the day.This powder helps me to maintain the glowy touch on my skin but also absorbs excess oil from BB compact.

Overall I'm really glad with my new buy and I find it really easy in application and traveling also because it comes in a compact form.It costs 11,90€ and holds 8,5 ml of product which is a decent amount for a bb cream at this price.

Οι αγαπημενες μου mascara( INGLOT,MAYBELINE,PUPA,ESSENCE,PRESTIGE,MAKEUPFOREVER,CLINIQUE)

Οπως οι περισσοτερες γυναικες ετσι κι εγω ειμαι παντα στο κυνηγι της καλυτερης mascara και αυτη την περιοδο οι αγαπημενες μου ειναι οι ακολουθες και σας γραφω και τους λογους που τις κανουν αγαπημενες μου!

INGLOT False Lash Effect Mascara(12ml)Σε αντιθεση με την προηγουμενη mascara που ειχε η Inglot(την οποια αγαπω σαν εταιρεια) αυτη χαριζει ογκο, μηκος και κανει τις βλεφαριδες να φαινονται οντως ψευτικες,φυσικα μετα απο μερικες στρωσεις, εχει τριχινο βουρτσακι κλασικο μεσαιο μεγεθος και λιγονστεγνη συνθεση.Αυτο βεβαια τις κανει να μαζευονται λιγο μεταξυ τους αλλα εμενα δε με πειραζει γιατι εχω λεπτες βλεφαριδες και μ´αρεσει αυτο το εφε!Η τιμη της ειναι λογικη κοντα στις mascara ευρειας κυκλοφοριας.

MAYBELINE ONE by ONE & COLOSSAL Smokey Eyes( 10,7 ml)Δεν ειμαι τρελη φαν της Maybeline οσον αφορα τις βλεφαριδες γιατι θεωρω οτι εχουν πολυ υγρη υφη,αλλα αυτες οι δυο που σας δειχνω μ´εχουν εντυπωσιασει. Η πρωτη εχει πλαστικο βουρτσακι καμπυλωτο σε σχημα αυγου(εγραψα παλι)τις μακραινει και τις ξεχωριζει και η δευτερη εχει τριχινο βουρτσακι κλασικο προς το μεγαλο,προσθετει ογκο και εχει εντονο μαυρο χρωμα.Συνηθως τις φοραω μαζι για εντονο αποτελεσμα ή μονες τους για πιο φυσικο. Κανουν γυρω στα 12 ευρω και πιστευω οτι τ´αξιζουν.

PUPA VAMP (301 Blue 9ml) - Ξερω οτι ειναι δυσκολο να την βρειτε στην Ελλαδα(στην Ιταλια ειναι παντου) αν μπορεσετε να την αποκτησετε μην την χασετε!Ειναι τελειο μπλε χρωμα ειδικα για το καλοκαιρι,δινει ογκο,μηκος και κανει την καμπυλη της βλεφαριδας να διαρκει, καμπυλωτο στη μεση βουρτσακι τριχινο.Εχει γυρω στα 12 ευρω και υπαρχει επισης σε μαυρο,μωβ,καφε.

ESSENCE I LOVE EXTREME Crazy Volume (12ml)- Το προσφατο αποκτημα μου απο την Essence, πλαστικο βουρτσακι,στεγνη/πηχτη υφη, μικρα δοντακια, πολυ μαυρη.Δινει ογκο και μηκος αλλα σε πολλες στρωσεις ενωνει τις βλεφαριδες και χρειαζεται χτενισμα με χτενακι βλεφαριδων για πιο φυσικο αποτελεσμα.Τιμη....οι τρελες τιμες της Essence που την εχουν βαλει για τα καλα στο παιχνιδι!(γυρω στα 3,5-4 ευρω)

PRESTIGE my Blackest Lashes(12ml)-Το ονομα της τα λεει απο μονο του, ειναι πολυ μαυρη!!!!!Δινει ογκο αλλα οχι τρελο, εχει τριχινο μεγαλο βουρτσακι, μικρη αποσταση αναμεσα στο βουρτσακι και το τελος της, εχει κι αυτη λιγο πηχτη σαν gel υφη και πολυ μαυρο χρωμα!

CLINIQUE High Impact Curling (8ml) - Δε μπορω να πω οτι ειμαι μεγαλος φαν των mascara της Clinique γιατι παντα ουαν τις εβαζα μουτζουρωνομουν παντου!Αυτη ομως δεν εχει τοσο υγρη υφη και το τριχινο καμπυλωτο της βουρτσακι βοηθαει να κανεις και να διατηρησεις την καμπυλη των βλεφαριδων.Ειναι αρκετα μαυρη και δινει ογκο αναλογα με το ποσες στρωσεις θα βαλετε,στην πρωτη ειναι πιο φυσικο το αποτελεσμα και οσο προσθετεις γινεται εντονο,βεβαια μετα πρεπει να καθαρισεις λιγακι το γυρω γυρω του ματιου γιατι θάχει απωλειες!(εγω το παθαινω με ολες τις mascara οποτε δε με δυσκολευει τοσο πολυ)
